About Me
I approach my work as a wounded healer, committed to attending to the whispers of my own soul cries, through life experiences, my own therapy, supervision and professional training.
I’m a trainer and interpersonal group facilitator on Re-Vision’s counselling and psychotherapy trainings. In addition, I co-facilitate the Heart Hub for queer-identifying practitioners within BAATN. I regularly contribute my voice and experiences as a keynote speaker, panel member and trainer for several therapeutic organsiations, grass roots community action projects, film companies and arts and media enterprises. I am celebrant, who cultivates love-centred ceremonies for funerals, memorials, weddings and naming ceremonies. I have a Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy (RQF) and Couples and Naming Ceremony Celebrancy (RQF).
I have worked with clients at the Terrence Higgins Trust and volunteered with the Samaritans. I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and an Honours Degree in Law. I worked as a school teacher for thirteen years. In addition, in partnership with VSO and UNICEF, I have worked as an Educational Advisor in Malawi.
